I think twitter's real power lies in its open API. I rarely use twitter's website. I think the powers that be at twitter want the site to intentionally be minimal so it appeals to a broader audience otherwise it would be too cluttered.

They did open lists up to their API so you can access your lists with seesmic and brizzly.

Take Care,

Bryan

Re: Twitter LISTS: Good Idea… And Deserves The Title BETA

I agree. It is truly beta, but I like it. I like the way they are releasing it one piece at a time. I also allows other companies/people to develop sites and programs to do this for you. To me that is how Twitter has become so popular. I'm looking at it
through the view of new eyes. The point was that you can't install FLASH
based on the instructions from Firefox or from Adobe; it doesn't work-
it errors out. And there's not straight doc on how to install it- it
seems like a bunch of TERMINAL hacks and workarounds. But if you can get
some basic stuff going; Ubuntu is easier to handle.

Thanks for your comments.

Re: Pirating Windows 7; nothing changes.

ah, okay. I can't move to a 64-bit browser until I've a Flash compatible version, cause nothing works on the web without Flash.

Adobe Flash has such web penetration, but yet they're not supporting their own product, pushing it, causing this halt on progress.

Thanks for your comments.

Re: Adobe to 64-bit users: NO FLASH PLAYER FOR YOU!

I'm with you on that but you have actually understated the Adobe's failure here.
They have been promising a 64-bit version of Flash for several YEARS not months (as you state).
Adobe's incompetence is only matched by their ignorance and disdain for Windows PC users.
I know a large corporation that would like to go 64-bit now, but they can't do it until 64-bit Flash arrives.

Re: Verizon now taking Iphones

I'm going to try to get some more information from them tonight about the usage and stuff; some details. Enabling the calendar is the solution to that one, but I
guess I'm showing that not everyone is going to have their calendars
open or setup.
Now, if you added some verbage to say the calendar being enabled could
be the issue.. or if you can test during setup if the calendar is live
or not- just something to give the user some direction on WHY they're
getting the error is a huge step to not getting support inquiries.

Thanks for the responses.

Thanks,
L. What an easy way for someone to know when you are not home and to kindly make themselves at home to your stuff.

I really like a lot of Google's products, but the people who are willing to give you the world typically want something in return.
